Job summary

The ARM Institute seeks a Systems & Security Administrator to support security, reliability, and administration of the Institute's technology environment. This role will manage enterprise security technologies, cloud and infrastructure platforms, and network systems to maintain cybersecurity controls.

Responsibilities include Defender XDR, Purview, Entra ID, Intune and Autopilot deployment, Linux systems, cloud repositories, vulnerability management, incident response, and ensuring CMMC

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Five (5) or more years of systems administration experience.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 security technologies.
• Experience managing network infrastructure.
• Experience administering Linux systems.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex systems, infrastructure, and security-related issues.
• Strong organizational, analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Defender XDR and Purview.
• Manage Entra ID security controls, including Conditional Access.
• Monitor, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity incidents and vulnerabilities.
• Support vulnerability identification, remediation, and ongoing security management.
• Maintain technical security controls supporting CMMC compliance requirements.
• Assist in maintaining secure system configurations and cybersecurity standards across the organization.
• Collaborate with IT team on incident response and risk mitigation.
