Job summary

ARM Institute is seeking a Systems & Security Administrator to support the security, reliability, and administration of the Institute's technology environment in Pittsburgh. You will manage enterprise security technologies, cloud and infrastructure platforms, network systems, and cybersecurity controls while collaborating with the User Systems Administrator on Intune/Autopilot deployment.

This role focuses on Defender XDR, Purview, and Entra ID security, with responsibilities spanning

Qualifications

Associate or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Five (5)+ years of systems administration experience.
Experience administering Microsoft 365 security technologies.
Experience managing network infrastructure.
Experience administering Linux systems.
Ability to troubleshoot complex systems, infrastructure, and security issues.
Strong organizational, analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

Administer and maintain Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Purview.
Manage Entra ID security controls, including Conditional Access.
Monitor, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity incidents and vulnerabilities.
Support vulnerability identification, remediation, and ongoing security management.
Maintain technical security controls supporting CMMC compliance requirements.
Assist in maintaining secure system configurations and cybersecurity standards.
