Job summary

The Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, Inc. in Cambridge, MA is seeking a System Requirements Engineer 2 to drive the definition, analysis, and verification of system requirements within an MBSE/digital engineering framework.

You will elucidate mission needs, develop CONOPS, perform modeling and trades, and manage requirements through the product life cycle with cross-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or related field (Masters preferred).
• 3-5 years experience in systems engineering with emphasis in requirements engineering.
• Familiarity with MBSE and/or digital engineering tools/methods.
• Ability to translate mission needs into system requirements and use cases/CONOPS.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, schedule and participate in requirements assessments.
• Support strategic technical planning and project management.
• Conduct requirements engineering, reliability, maintenance and analysis.
• Assist in capture and translation of mission/customer requirements into system requirements.
• Lead assessment efforts and document results for design decisions.
