U.S. Bank is seeking a systems analyst to define and perform systems analysis and development tasks to improve workflow and operating efficiency. You will analyze existing systems and propose technical and procedural improvements.

This role involves cost analysis, project tracking, test planning, and collaboration with management, staff and IT to ensure policy and reporting standards are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Typically five or more years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and perform systems analysis and development tasks to improve workflow and operating efficiency.
• Formulates proposals for new systems and information needs by analyzing existing systems and procedures and defining recommended technical and procedural improvements.
• Analyze costs of existing operations and estimate cost savings to be achieved by implementing proposed changes; make recommendations based on analysis.
• Participate in the modification of existing applications or development of new applications.
• Act as a liaison and technical resource between management, staff and information systems to define and communicate standards of operational policy, plans, customer service or financial/performance reporting.
• Ensure all documentation and requests comply with established policies and procedures.
• Maintain applicable systems to monitor and track projects, plans and/or data; provide reports to management as needed.
• Write test plans and perform tests of new systems and modifications to existing systems.
• Develop communication tools to ensure a high level of awareness of policies, plans, procedures or study/project results.
