Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a systems analyst to define and perform analysis and development tasks to improve workflow and efficiency across platforms.

You will analyze costs, propose improvements, and help modify or develop applications while liaising with management, staff, and information systems to set and communicate standards. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least four years of related experience, with strong analytical and communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Typically four or more years of related experience.
• Thorough knowledge of policies, plans, procedures, products and regulatory requirements for the assigned business unit.

Responsibilities

• Define and perform systems analysis and development tasks to improve workflow and efficiency.
• Analyze costs of existing operations and estimate cost savings from proposed changes.
• Participate in modification of existing applications or development of new applications.
• Act as liaison between management, staff and IS to communicate standards and policies.
• Maintain documentation and requests, and provide reports to management as needed.
• Write test plans and perform tests of new systems and modifications.
• Develop communication tools to raise awareness of policies and results.
