Job summary

IQUASAR LLC is seeking qualified personnel for a dynamic, client-focused environment supporting networks, servers, desktops and security across multiple facilities. The role covers system and network administration, account setup, monitoring, troubleshooting, and policy development.

The position requires DoD 8140 IAT-II certification, Active Directory, VMware, and ArcServe expertise, with a strong emphasis on security and documentation in an enterprise setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience)
• 5 years’ experience with 2+ years in a TS processing environment
• Working knowledge of layer 2 and 3 network principles
• PowerShell and WMI ArcServe backup software support and configuration
• Experience maintaining on-site server hardware & software
• Experience configuring and implementing Windows Deployment Services (WDS)
• Experience working with Active Directory
• Knowledge of Cisco IOS commands to configure network equipment
• Sound knowledge of VMware ESXi, vCenter, and related technologies
• Must meet DoD 8140 IAT-II (Security+ CE) certification
• Must hold baseline DoD 8140 qualification (e.g., Security+ or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Install and configure software and hardware
• Manage network servers and technology tools
• Set up accounts, workstations and servers
• Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
• Troubleshoot issues and outages under guidance of Government IT Lead
• Ensure security through access controls, auditing and firewalls
• Upgrade systems with new releases and models
• Define system requirements and design solutions
• Research and recommend server administration improvements
• Train staff on new technologies and maintain documentation
• Configure and maintain networks and in-house servers
• Install and integrate new server hardware and applications
• Support third-party applications and ensure security
• Monitor network performance and test for weaknesses
• Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords
• Assist in resolving DoD CUI-related problems
• Define network policies and procedures
