Northrop Grumman in Melbourne, FL is seeking an Associate Systems Modeling & Simulation Engineer (T01) or a Systems Modeling & Simulation Engineer (T02) to join the Test & Evaluation directorate. You will design and develop software for multi-domain system labs and translate customer requirements into lower-level specs.

Applicants should have STEM degrees, be able to obtain security clearance, and have experience with C++, C, LabVIEW, Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree completed by Aug 2026.
• Master's or Bachelor's plus 2 years of software/modeling experience by Aug 2026.
• Majored in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software for multi-domain, multi-platform system labs.
• Analyze customer requirements and generate lower-level requirements.
• Consult with stakeholders and present ideas in small groups.
• Create innovative technical designs compliant with requirements.
• Build high-quality, fully performing software.
• Define, implement, and document system tests.
• Perform software and hardware integration/troubleshooting.
• Focus on lab system configurations.
