Description

Your role will be to develop innovative metrology solutions for Apple Vision products. This involves collaborating across teams to understand product needs and set targets for quality. You will define metrology solutions, develop strategies to verify product designs meet these targets, work on state-of-the-art metrology tools, extend their capabilities, and develop novel measurement methods. Your work will help Apple deliver products that only Apple can imagine and deliver!

Minimum Qualifications

• BS in computer science, mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in a related role
• Strong programming and data analysis skills
• Background in metrology development and customization
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• MS in computer science, mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent
• Ability to prototype and test independently with strong problem-solving skills
• Broad skillset across electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, and optics
• Experience with computer vision algorithms
• Background in robotics design, prototyping, and validation
• Experience in consumer manufacturing and mechanical design
• Programming and data analysis experience in Python

At Apple, base pay is part of a total compensation package, determined within a range based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The pay range for this role is $143,100 to $264,200.
