Texas Southern University is seeking a Systems Librarian to manage the Integrated Library Management System (OCLC WorldShare) and coordinate electronic resources for teaching and research. This role drives library operations, including weekend and evening hours, and supports electronic research services for students and faculty.
The position involves teaching two sections of legal research, coordinating IT projects, and collaborating with faculty on electronic resources and web content.
Under general supervision, responsible for the functional management of the Integrated Library Management System (OCLC WorldShare Management Services) and coordinates the use and integration of electronic research resources and technology in faculty teaching and research and in library collections and services. Oversees library operations and services during weekend and evening hours. Teaches two sections of legal research courses during the academic year.
Juris Doctorate degree with two (2) years of Information Technology experience OR Master of Library Science (MLS) OR Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) OR Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS).
Valid Texas Driver’s License preferred.
