In this position your duties will entail:
PLC logic design and programming
HMI design and programming
Electrical control circuit design and review
Field activities such as installation, commissioni#g, and site investigations
Perform systems integrations using a wide variety of serial and ethernet communication protocols
Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing asrequired
Preparation of proposals and review of plans and specifications
Meeting and presentations to customers, internal and external
Preparation of technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
Coursework, academic projects, internships, or co-op experiencedemonstratingan interest in controls, automation, embedded systems, or programming
Strong written and oral communication skills
Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products including Outlook,Wordand Excel
Willingness to travel for field activities and to develop an in-office presence in Washington, D.C. or Atlanta, GA
2+ years in PLC programmingutilizingIEC-61131 languages
2+ years in HMI/SCADA design, programming, and database programming
Certification with Inductive Automation Ignition, GECimplicity, RockwellFactoryTalkor Wonderware System Platform is a plus
2+ years in electrical schematic design for control systems
Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting software is a plus
0-2+ years in networking for OT/ICS networks
Certification with Moxa, Cisco, or Rockwell Automation is a plus
Demonstrated experience with common industrial automation communication protocols including Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP, PROFINET and serial equivalents
Industry experience with data centers, critical environments, or rail is a plus
Ability to travel up to 80%
Pay: $65-85k/yr DOE
