Responsibilities

  • Develop system architecture to integrate AN/BYG-1 components into shipboard training systems.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design and integrate Navy training systems.
  • Analyze Navy training requirements to meet operational needs.
  • Develop technical approaches for capabilities and realistic training scenarios.
  • Assess progress and leverage COTS/GOTS/NDI to support development.
  • Conduct analyses of alternatives for design decisions.
  • Design mechanisms for cybersecurity resilience.
  • Provide technical support during deployment, testing, and training across labs and shipboard locations.
  • Stay current with Navy training methods and industry best practices.
  • Lead or participate in stand-up meetings and cross-team groups.

SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Systems Integrator.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Job Summary

SEACORP is seeking a skilled Systems Integrator to join a highly talented team responsible for design and delivery of Navy training systems. The Systems Integrator will perform as an operating system, network, and a COTs hardware integration specialist. They will perform design activities to meet requirements and oversee the creation of software and hardware products from initial specifications to final rollout and maintenance. These products are sophisticated and consist of Linux operating systems, network operating systems and VLANs, virtual machines, containers, and Kubernetes management. The Systems Integrator is responsible for the construction of operating systems, application programs and hardware devices. They will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the training system to ensure optimal performance and effectiveness for naval personnel. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, a creative problem solver and able to work effectively within and/or lead a dynamic multi-team environment performing the following types of tasks.

Job Responsibilities Include
  • Develop system architecture and design specifications to integrate AN/BYG-1 software and hardware components seamlessly into the shipboard training and readiness systems.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design, develop, implement, and integrate a state-of-the‑art training systems for the Navy.
  • Analyze and understand Navy training requirements to ensure the system meets operational needs effectively.
  • Develop technical approaches to achieve desired capabilities and ensure realistic training scenarios.
  • Conduct assessments measuring technical progress and effectiveness of plans in meeting requirements. Leverage use of Commercial-off-the-Shelf/Government-off-the-Shelf/Non-Developmental Items to support development efforts.
  • Perform Analysis of Alternatives to assess alternative options for design decisions.
  • Design mechanisms to ensure a cybersecurity resilient system.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance during system deployment/installation, test, and training exercises for multiple platforms at various labs, sites, and shipboard locations.
  • Stay current with advancements in technology, Navy training methodologies, and industry best practices to continuously improve the training system.
  • Lead or attend Stand-up meetings, Technical Interchange Meetings, Integrated Product Teams, and Working Groups.
Qualifications
Education

Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline.

Experience

7 years of experience.

Required Skills and Experience
  • Linux Operating System expertise.
  • Ability to integrate AN/BYG-1 within Virtual Machines and Containers.
  • Ability to develop requirements and design packages to modernize hardware and software architecture moving forward to a DevSecOps architecture.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and present technical concepts clearly.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Office & Computer Laboratories - Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting.
