Job summary

Arcfield seeks a seasoned VV&T professional for Fort Belvoir, VA, to lead system-level satellite VV&T activities and coordinate with Acquisition Offices. You will evaluate architectures, develop VV&T strategies, and drive risk management across milestones, delivering clear briefs and technical recommendations.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, a BS/BA (or MS/MA/PhD variants), and extensive experience in GEOINT or protection systems space-ground architecture.

Qualifications

  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • BS/BA degree with 8-10 years of experience, or 6-8 years with MS/MA or 3-5 years with Ph.D.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and working groups.
  • Experience with Enterprise or System level satellite VV&T activities.
  • Experience with GEOINT or PROTECTION systems space and ground architecture.
  • Knowledge of space-to-ground mission capabilities and system performance analysis/assessment.
  • Experience with Mission Planning, Control or Processing functions in support of space and ground operations.
  • Experience writing test strategies, plans, procedures, and checklists.
  • Ability to mentor and lead Junior VV&T team members.
  • Ability to partner with SETA, FFRDC, and Government authorities.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have (DESIRED):

  • 12+ Years of related experience.
  • SME level knowledge of Enterprise / System Level Satellite VV&T.
  • Knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering and experience using SysML.
  • Experience with commercial VV&T techniques in service-oriented architecture (SOA) environments, or for infrastructure or application service provider environments.

This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
