Job summary

SciTec, a Firefly Aerospace company, seeks an Integration & Test Engineer to verify, validate, and integrate mission-critical defense systems. You will drive system-level testing, collaborate across software, systems, and government stakeholders, and ensure readiness for program milestones.

The ideal candidate has hands-on V&V experience, develops robust test plans, analyzes results, and supports continuous process improvement within a secure, contractor environment in Colorado.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physical Sciences, or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience supporting system integration, test, or verification activities in a defense or complex systems environment.
• Experience supporting Missile Warning, space, or similar mission systems.
• Experience with system-level verification and validation (V&V).
• Experience developing or executing test plans and test procedures.
• Ability to analyze system behavior against requirements and document results.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of system integration and verification activities
• Develop and refine test strategies, plans, and methodologies aligned with program objectives
• Execute and support system-level test events, including integration, functional, and performance testing
• Identify verification gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities, and drive resolution
• Analyze system performance against requirements and document test results
• Collaborate with software, systems, infrastructure, and program teams to ensure integrated system readiness
• Support coordination with government and contractor stakeholders to align integration and test activities
• Provide recommendations to improve verification rigor, efficiency, and consistency
• Support preparation for internal and external reviews, assessments, and demonstrations
• Contribute to continuous improvement of integration and test processes across programs
• Perform other duties as assigned
