IRON YELLOW LLC in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Systems Integration Specialist to connect the rental management platform with ERP, CRM, e-commerce, and accounting systems. You will ingest telematics, automate readings, and maintain data quality across assets and contracts.

You will design and monitor APIs and iPaaS workflows, resolve sync issues, and collaborate with branches, service, finance, and sales to implement improvements and migrations.

Formación

• The candidate has 3+ years building or supporting system integrations in a business environment.
• Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, and SQL is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent experience.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain integrations between rental management system, ERP, CRM, e-commerce, and accounting platforms.
• Ingest and normalize telematics data to automate hour-meter readings, location, and maintenance triggers.
• Develop and monitor APIs, EDI transactions, and iPaaS workflows; resolve sync errors before they affect billing.
• Support integrations with national accounts, procurement portals, and partner networks.
• Write SQL queries, data mappings, and ensure data quality across assets, customers, and contracts.
• Collaborate with branches, service, finance, and sales to gather requirements and test changes.
• Document architecture, data flows, and runbooks; provide tier-2/3 support and on-call rotations.
• Evaluate vendors and assist migrations and onboarding for new branches.

Description

The Systems Integration Specialist connects the systems that run our rental business so data flows cleanly from the counter to the jobsite to the books. You will build and support integrations between our rental management platform, ERP, telematics feeds, e-commerce and customer portals, CRM, and field service tools. Your work directly improves fleet utilization, billing accuracy, and the customer experience across our branch network.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain integrations between the rental management system and ERP, CRM, e-commerce, and accounting platforms.
• Ingest and normalize telematics data to automate hour-meter readings, location, and preventive maintenance triggers.
• Develop and monitor APIs, EDI transactions, and middleware or iPaaS workflows; resolve sync errors before they affect billing or dispatch.
• Support integrations with national accounts, procurement portals, and partner/re-rent networks.
• Write SQL queries, scripts, and data mappings; maintain data quality across asset, customer, and contract records.
• Partner with branch operations, service, finance, and sales to gather requirements and test changes.
• Document integration architecture, data flows, and runbooks; provide tier-2/3 support and participate in an on-call rotation.
• Evaluate vendors and support system migrations, acquisitions, and new branch onboarding.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years building or supporting system integrations in a business environment.
• Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, and SQL.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in equipment rental, construction, heavy equipment dealerships, or logistics.
• Familiarity with rental software and telematics platforms.
• Experience with iPaaS tools (Boomi, MuleSoft, Azure Logic Apps) and ERPs such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 or NetSuite.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and BI tools (Power BI).
