Job summary

Qualifications

• BS CS preferred or equivalent computer science degree
• Experience interacting with customers in a technical role
• Experience with hardware/software systems in data centers or high-availability environments
• Minimum four years of related industry experience in BMS/Monitoring/Protocols & integration
• Minimum three years' experience interacting with customers in a support role
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
• Strong knowledge of PCs and Operating Systems (Windows 10, Server 2016 and current)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, SharePoint)

Responsibilities

• Software Implementation: install software for customers
• Manage equipment lists and project information
• Collaborate with sales to scope and quote projects
• Assist with licensing and upgrades
• Develop departmental procedures/guidelines
• Software Development: create templates for Vertiv & third-party equipment
• Manage template libraries
• Assist testing and development for new releases
• Track and resolve field issues related to development
• Create and maintain technical support documentation
• Provide domestic and international technical assistance
• Attend meetings and training for product knowledge
• Stay updated on new products and environments
• Other duties or projects as assigned
