Job summary

The University of Oklahoma's Advanced Radar Research Center (ARRC) seeks an Industrial Engineer to improve production workflows, manage material flow, and support system integration across hardware lifecycle. This role partners with engineering, production, supply chain, and project management to implement process improvements in a fast-paced, research-focused environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in CS, MIS or related field; 12 months experience in systems integration or related technical field.
  • Equivalency: 48 months related experience in lieu of Bachelor's Degree.

Responsibilities

  • Support production planning and coordination for hardware builds.
  • Assist with inventory management, material tracking, and supply chain activities.
  • Develop and maintain production documentation, work instructions, and process standards.
  • Analyze production workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Support implementation and maintenance of MES (FactoryLogix).
  • Assist with project planning, task tracking, and engineering workflow management using Jira.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and data analysis tools to support decision-making.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams to improve manufacturability, traceability, and production readiness of hardware designs.
  • Participate in troubleshooting production bottlenecks and identifying root causes of process inefficiencies.
