Job summary

2T Consulting is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to lead end-to-end system requirements, architecture, interfaces, and traceability for embedded and remote control systems. You will design, integrate, validate, and troubleshoot across software, hardware, and networks, using Embedded C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink, RTOS, CAN and Ethernet.

You will drive system verification, V&V, and test planning, collaborating with software, hardware, and controls teams.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in Systems Engineering, Systems Integration, Validation, or Embedded Software.
• Strong grasp of requirements engineering, system architecture, interfaces and V&V.
• Proficient in Embedded C/C++ and hands-on MATLAB/Simulink.
• Experience with RTOS, CAN, Ethernet and embedded protocols.
• Familiar with CANoe/CANalyzer, Wireshark and Git; strong debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Leverage AI-assisted engineering tools to improve productivity, testing, and workflows.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of system integration and validation processes.

Required Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in Systems Engineering, Systems Integration, Validation, or Embedded Software Development.
• Strong understanding of:
  • Requirements engineering
  • System architecture
  • System interfaces and integration
  • Verification and validation (V&V)
  • Embedded control systems
• Proficiency in Embedded C/C++.
• Hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulink.
• Experience with RTOS, CAN, Ethernet, and embedded communication protocols.
• Experience with CANoe/CANalyzer and Wireshark.
• Experience with Git and modern software development and testing tools.
• Knowledge of system-level troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools, such as GitHub Copilot or Microsoft Copilot.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with autonomy, robotics, remote control, or machine control systems.
• Familiarity with AUTOSAR.
• Knowledge of functional safety principles and standards.
• Experience with FMEA and safety-related engineering processes.
• Experience with HIL/SIL testing and simulation environments.
• Familiarity with requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS or Jama.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and system-level test automation.
• Experience working in cross-functional Agile or modern engineering environments.
