Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
• 10+ years of systems engineering or systems integration experience, preferably supporting DoD/DoW T&E.
• Experience integrating hardware, software, sensors, communications, instrumentation, and data architectures.
• Experience developing system architectures, interface specifications, integration plans, and technical documentation.
• Experience supporting field testing, operational demonstrations, experimentation, or deployed technical systems.
• Strong technical leadership, troubleshooting, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to travel and support field deployments and operational/test events.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance upon hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration across instrumentation, networking, data processing, visualization, and mission analysis.
• Develop system architectures, interface definitions, integration strategies, technical roadmaps, and implementation plans.
• Integrate hardware, software, sensors, instrumentation, tactical communications, mission systems, and operational data sources.
• Support operational planning, field deployments, test execution, demonstrations, troubleshooting, and capability transition.
• Conduct requirements analysis, trade studies, technical evaluations, and risk assessments.
• Develop CONOPS, systems engineering documentation, integration plans, and deployment packages.
• Coordinate with Government customers, operators, range personnel, engineers, and industry partners.
• Support cybersecurity/RMF activities, secure system deployment, accreditation, and operational sustainment.
• Lead technical teams supporting integration, testing, deployment, and field operations.
• Support proposals, technical volumes, ROM development, customer engagements, and strategic growth activities.

GBL Systems Corporation is a leading systems engineering and software development firm with a 35+ year history of providing technical support to the U.S. Government in the areas of Avionics / Armament Systems, Electronic Warfare, Network Centric Warfare and Modeling & Simulation. GBL is based in Camarillo, CA.

GBL Systems is seeking an experienced Systems Integration Engineer to support the design, integration, deployment, and operational execution of advanced instrumentation, networking, data management, and mission analysis capabilities supporting Department of War (DoW) test and experimentation activities. The successful candidate will serve as a technical lead, translating operational requirements into deployable solutions for distributed, multi-domain environments and leading multidisciplinary teams through integration, testing, deployment, and operational execution.

U.S. citizenship and current active SECRET clearance required.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead systems engineering and integration activities across instrumentation, networking, communications, data transport, processing, visualization, and mission analysis capabilities.
• Develop system architectures, interface definitions, integration strategies, technical roadmaps, and implementation plans.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline; equivalent relevant technical or military experience may substitute.
• 10+ years of relevant systems engineering or systems integration experience, preferably supporting DoD/DoW T&E, instrumentation, networking, mission systems, or distributed operational environments.
• Demonstrated experience integrating hardware, software, sensors, communications, instrumentation, and data architectures.
• Experience developing system architectures, interface specifications, integration plans, and technical documentation.
• Experience supporting field testing, operational demonstrations, experimentation, or deployed technical systems.
• Strong technical leadership, troubleshooting, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to travel and support field deployments and operational/test events.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance upon hire is required.

Salary Range: $129,089 USD to $185,000 USD. Salary is based on current qualifications, related experience, and contractual requirements which could fall outside of this range.
