Job summary

Jabil in Austin, TX seeks a Sr. Principal Design Engineer - Systems Integration, Data Center & Infrastructure Systems (SIM) to own engineering delivery and system integration for complex industrial and data center infrastructure.

The SIM ensures thermal, electrical, fluid and control systems are integrated into fully functional, reliable systems and drives disciplined delivery. This role partners with TPM for portfolio alignment, manages scope maturity and risks, and enforces execution

Responsibilities

• Drive closure of critical actions and resolve ownership gaps across engineering and stakeholders.
• End-to-end engineering execution across thermal, electrical, fluid and control systems from design through deployment.
• Own system requirements, architecture decomposition, interface management, verification and validation.
• Ensure system performance, reliability, and integration readiness under real-world conditions.
• Drive cross-functional alignment across Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Thermal, Manufacturing and Program teams.
• Lead system-level design reviews, including P&IDs, one-lines, controls architectures, and subsystem interfaces.
• Define and drive integration, commissioning, FAT, SAT and deployment readiness strategies.
• Ensure build readiness for skids, modular data centers (MDCs) and field installations.
