Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Senior Principal Mechanical Integration Engineer to lead the thermal and mechanical design for data center cooling systems. The role demands deep expertise in liquid cooling, piping, and HDLC integration across rack and facility levels.

You will review CAD/TPDs, specify components, and drive testing/validation to meet thermo-mechanical standards. Travel up to 30% is required and the work location can be remote or in Austin, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in mechanical system integration.
• Experience with data center/thermal systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and thermal integration for data center cooling systems.
• Review CAD/Technical Data Packages to validate requirements.
• Specify components, materials, and assembly methods for piping.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across site, rack, and equipment levels.
• Manage vendor relationships and component qualification.
• Perform testing, validation, and modeling of thermo-mechanical performance.
