Job summary

Donatech Corporation seeks a Systems Engineer/SEIT with MBSE expertise to lead documentation, verification and system design activities in a DoD contracting environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering, 4+ years of SEIT experience, DoD Secret clearance, and US citizenship. You will work within integrated product teams, using DOORS, UML and SysML, and engage in risk/cost analyses throughout development.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead development of technical documentation including test procedures, reports, architectures, designs, and implementations.

• Assist in system requirements analysis, architecture, and design across lifecycle phases.
• Apply DOORS, UML, SysML in system engineering practices and MBSE.

Position would require the candidate to be a W2 employee of Donatech.

US Citizenship Required.

• Lead the development of technical documentation in support of engineering solutions that include, but are not limited to, test procedures, test reports, architectural drawings, detailed design specifications, and implementation instructions.
• Perform formal verification, qualification, and validation testing.
• Lead small teams to complete tasks on‑time and on‑budget.
• Communicate effectively with team members and both internal and external stakeholders.
• Able to work under general supervision to set objectives.
• Assist in engineering system development tasks including system requirements analysis, system architecture and design, preliminary design, critical design, system integration, and fielding support.
• Assist in the performance of requirements analysis using DOORS, UML, Model-Based Systems Engineering (SysML), and other system engineering practices.
• Contribute to the completion of milestones and subsequent gate reviews.
• Assist in technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and cost and risk analyses for total systems.
• Maintain standards compliance.

Skills/Experience:

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent technical discipline (Computer Sciences, Mathematics, or Physics) and minimum 4 years of prior related experience,
• DoD Secret clearance.
• Experience with all aspects of SEIT and product development best practices and their applications given program needs.
• Experience in integrated product teams.
• Strong verbal and written technical communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio.)
• U.S. Citizen.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Familiarity with the military/defense contracting environment.
• Proficiency in DOORS.
• AGILE development experience.
• Integration and Test experience utilizing oscilloscopes, multimeters, and data acquisition systems.
• IGBT, MOSFET, or power conversion experience.
• Experience with power supplies greater than 10,000 W.
• Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience.
