Job summary

Lockheed Martin RMS Mount Laurel is seeking a manager to lead a multi-discipline team of engineers in the Readiness product line. You will supervise software and systems engineering activities, recruit and develop staff, and ensure on-schedule, on-budget delivery of complex defense solutions.

The role emphasizes applying engineering standards, driving DevSecOps practices, and coordinating with the MDSE IE Organization to advance technology and processes across programs like Aegis BMD and Space

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
• Strong understanding of the software engineering development process
• Cost account manager (CAM) experience and EVM experience or similar financial oversight
• Ability to obtain & maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-discipline team of 15-20 engineers in design and development of products within the Readiness product line
• Coordinate subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary actions, and recognition/disciplinary actions
• Oversee the design, development, documentation, and testing of software that solves business/mission problems
• Apply standards, processes, and tools throughout the development life cycle
• Provide direction to the department and MDSE IE Organization to deliver on schedule and within budget
