Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is hiring a Systems Engineering Manager in Oklahoma City, OK. The Airplane Integration Office (AIO) Manager will report to the Deputy Chief Engineer for the AWACS platforms. This position involves managing a team of engineers supporting the office of the chief engineering in program execution. The manager must interface with external customers and internal teams and IPTs.

Responsibilities

• Manage employees performing engineering and technical activities in Systems Engineering.
• Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures, and set operational goals.
• Acquire resources, provide technical management of suppliers, and lead process improvements.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and reports.
• Oversee and approve technical approaches, products, and processes.
• Manage, develop, and motivate employees.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite at one of the listed locations. An active U.S. Secret Security Clearance is required (U.S. Citizenship required). A security clearance active within the past 24 months is considered active.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to lead a team.
• Understanding of engineering aspects of airplane modification programs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous management/leadership experience.

Additional Details

• Relocation assistance available based on eligibility.
• Shift: 1st shift.
• Pay range: $128,350 - $173,650, with applications accepted until May 29, 2025.
• This is not an export control position.
