Job Description:

Join GDIT and provide critical on-site Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) expertise and counsel to senior-level clients in support of Headquarters, Air Force Deputy Chief of Staff for ISR and Cyber Effects Operations (CEO) (AF/A2/6). Be part of a team that provides counsel on multi-intelligence (multi-INT) ISR issues to meet complex ISR challenges. We’re seeking ISR, multi-INT, and AF Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) Advisors to join our team at the Pentagon, Washington, DC.

The Systems Engineering Manager will manage team workload and prepare DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) deliverables. The role involves making recommendations to leadership on environmental changes, including governance, processes, and data exchanges.

HOW A SYSTEMS ENGINEERING MANAGER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

• Provide enterprise, system, solution, and data architects to support the AF DCGS enterprise and develop/manage architecture products for the Air Force ground capabilities (processing, exploitation, and dissemination - PED).
• Coordinate with entities to establish and sustain the operational baseline.
• Support AF DCGS in developing and executing an Enterprise Architecture aligned with the DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF), based on operational, systems, and technical baselines.
• Facilitate data collection, database population, and architecture product view creation using architecture tools.
• Produce and collaborate on enterprise architecture models supporting AF DCGS and Open Architecture (OA) DCGS pilots.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• MS degree in Engineering or Computer Science preferred; 15+ years of related experience (additional years considered in lieu of degree)
• At least six years' experience with DoDAF architectures
• Experience with architecture tools
• Certified Enterprise Architect (CEA) preferred
• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
• Location: Arlington, VA
• US Citizenship Required

The likely salary range is $139,984 - $184,000, depending on experience and location.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Travel Required: Less than 10%
