Job summary

Peraton in St. Louis, Missouri seeks a Mid-Level Cloud Engineer to help design and operate cloud-based GEOINT solutions. The role requires a Bachelor's in CS/IT/MIS and 6+ years of hands-on cloud systems engineering, with TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain it.

You will apply engineering methods to ensure reliability and performance, leverage IaaS/PaaS/SaaS, and work onsite 100%. Remote work is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS or related STEM field.
• 6+ years of experience supporting or leading cloud-based systems engineering.
• TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph.

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program.
• 6+ years of working experience in government or industry supporting or leading cloud-based systems engineering efforts.

Mid‑Level Cloud Engineers define, implementation approaches and plans to ensure optimum cloud performance and reliability across the servers, networks, and related utilities and hardware that comprise the cloud infrastructure. They conduct analysis and make reliable engineering recommendations to ensure six sigma reliability/resiliency of the cloud infrastructure. They monitor and report on cloud utilization and plan continuous process improvement.

Duties include:
