Job summary

RTX in Indianapolis is seeking an undergraduate or graduate student in Electrical, Systems, or Aerospace Engineering for an on-site internship/co-op. You will support systems requirement development, assist in lab activities, and prepare detailed performance evaluations using MATLAB and related tools.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree, have hands-on testing experience with electronics, and experience with MATLAB and C++.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or Aerospace Engineering degree program or STEM major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Academic or internship experience that included hands-on testing of electronic equipment
• Exposure to troubleshooting technical issues with electronics in an academic or internship setting, or as part of a hobby
• Exposure to data analysis using tools such as MATLAB and/or C++

• 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher
• Basic understanding on how radar systems are developed and function
• Understanding of radar modes and operation, such as air/air detection, air/ground detection, and ground mapping capabilities

Relocation Eligibility

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
