Job summary

RTX in Indianapolis invites students pursuing engineering degrees to join our team as interns or co-ops. You will work in a hands-on environment supporting systems requirement development, lab activities, and documentation.

You will prepare and present results using tools like MATLAB and C++, and interact with internal stakeholders on technical evaluations. The program offers exposure to aerospace technology and real-world problem solving.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in EE, SE, AE or STEM and enrolled through internship.
• Experience testing electronic equipment in academic or internship settings.
• Experience troubleshooting electronics in academic, internship, or hobby contexts.
• Exposure to data analysis with MATLAB and/or C++.

What You Will Do

• Support systems requirement development and analysis.
• Support activities in our labs and document requirement verifications.
• Complete and compile detailed performance evaluations, including the use of analysis tools, such as MATLAB Prepare and present results in reports and briefings to internal or external stakeholders
  

Qualifications You Must Have

• Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or Aerospace Engineering degree program or STEM major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Academic or internship experience that included hands‑on testing of electronic equipment
• Exposure to troubleshooting technical issues with electronics in an academic or internship setting, or as part of a hobby
• Exposure to data analysis using tools such as MATLAB and/or C++
  

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience or coursework in Systems Engineering
• Extracurricular involvement in school groups/clubs and/or the community
• 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher
• Basic understanding on how radar systems are developed and function
• Understanding of radar modes and operation, such as air/air detection, air/ground detection, and ground mapping capabilities
