Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a leader to direct HFE, E3, and RAMT teams, providing technical guidance and ensuring milestones are met. You will coordinate staffing, mentor engineers, and resolve critical issues to keep programs progressing on schedule.

The role requires strong leadership, the ability to manage shifting priorities, and a deep engineering background, with a US security clearance and citizenship as prerequisites.

Qualifications

• Experience with program engineering execution and milestone reviews (e.g., CDR).
• Experience leading teams and/or project management: planning, scheduling, staffing, and stakeholder presentations.
• Demonstrated technical experience in HFE, E3, and/or RAMT engineering.

In This Role, You Will

• Lead the performance of the HFE, E3, and RAMT teams to include technical direction, planning, and staffing.
• Exercise your leadership to facilitate follow-through of various HFE, E3, and RAMT tasks.
• Lead resolution of critical issues to maintain program momentum.
• Report to Senior team leaders as well as internal and external program stakeholders.
• Perform functional administration tasks including coaching, team development, and performance ownership for your team.

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Basic Qualifications

Experience with program engineering execution, including preparation and participation in milestone reviews such as CDR.

Experience leading teams and/or project management experience: planning, scheduling, staffing, task ownership, and presentations to stakeholders/customer.

Demonstrated technical experience in Human Factors Engineering (HFE), Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Engineering, and/or Relaibility/Availability/Maintainability/Testability (RAMT) Engineering.

Active or current Secret Clearance required to start; US Citizenship required.

Desired Skills

Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college in engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience.

Demonstrated leadership skills and behaviors that align with the LM Full‑Spectrum imperatives.

Broad knowledge of missile design and/or missile Systems.

Working knowledge of Speciality Engineering disciplines.

Experience working in test facilities.

Systems Engineering process knowledge or experience and complete lifecycle experience with Engineering processes and reviews.

Familiarity with DoD/Space program support.

Experience establishing and implementing technical requirements (specifications, program plans, etc.).

Experience working collaboratively with customer and geographically dispersed teammates.

Pay Information

Full‑Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00

Benefits offered:

• Annual short‑term and/or long‑term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
• For (Washington state applicants only) Non‑represented full‑time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
