Job summary

ARKA Group L.P. is seeking a systems engineer to support a primary US Government program in Ypsilanti, MI or Chantilly, VA. You will shape requirements for software teams, adapt architecture, and design testing approaches, ensuring clear communication across program teams during the software development life cycle.

This position requires US citizenship and TS/SCI clearance, and offers a flexible schedule option, a mission-focused environment, and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship with active TS/SCI clearance.
• Full-time on-site availability.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or four years of relevant experience.
• Experience performing system engineering tasks for software programs.
• Knowledge of Scrum/Agile development and Jira.

Responsibilities

• Translate algorithms into robust software applications.
• Collaborate with radar/electro-optical experts to improve image quality.
• Provide systems engineering and enterprise architecture support to USG customers.
• Translate signals and architecture into working code with software engineers.
• Develop repeatable processes to support development and integration of new capabilities.
• Interface with the customer through detailed products and presentations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
