Job summary

Space Systems Integration (SSI) in Colorado Springs, CO seeks a Systems Engineer to provide systems engineering and technical integration support across mission areas, including requirements development, systems integration, test planning, and stakeholder coordination for enterprise modernization efforts.

You will work with Government customers to translate operational needs into executable technical solutions, perform trade studies, develop documentation, and contribute to risk analyses while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering or related technical field with 5 years of relative experience
• 5 years of systems engineering experience supporting DoD, IC, or Federal programs
• Experience with systems engineering lifecycle processes and developing requirements
• Experience working directly with Government customers and cross-organizational collaboration
• Active TS clearance with in-scope T5/SSBI, SCI eligibility and Continuous Evaluation; polygraph willingness

Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze, and manage system requirements throughout the engineering lifecycle
• Coordinate technical activities across Government, FFRDC, UARC, and industry partners
• Develop engineering documentation including System Engineering Plans, Interface Control Documents, and Verification Cross Reference Matrices
• Participate in technical interchange meetings, design reviews, and working groups
• Conduct trade studies, engineering assessments, and risk analyses
• Support integration planning, system verification, validation, and operational transition activities
