Job summary

Sierra Space is seeking a Systems Engineer III in Colorado to contribute to the development and implementation of advanced system solutions. You will align and direct the technical team across the product lifecycle, glue subsystems together, and manage architectures, requirements, and definitions.

You will shepherd milestones, manage risks, and oversee system integration and verification activities while collaborating with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Typically 5+ years of related experience or Masters + 3 years.
• Knowledge of requirements management, derivation and allocation.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support system engineering scope across lifecycle.
• Oversee system integration and verification activities.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure cohesive solutions.
