Job summary

Auria Space seeks a Systems Engineer to support the HADES program at Kirtland AFB, NM. The role requires full-time presence and involves systems engineering, integration, testing, and sustainment of ground and space vehicle interfaces.

You will work with MBSE, DOORS, Cameo, and CI/CD tooling in a DoD environment, and must hold a TS/SCI clearance. This contingent, contract-award position offers impactful mission work and strong compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Science, Information Systems, or related STEM discipline.
• 4+ years of experience on a project of similar scope or complexity (2+ years with a Master's).
• US citizenship with an active DoD Top Secret clearance, investigation date within 6 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering, development, integration, and sustainment of hardware and antenna service integration systems.
• Deliver systems engineering, development, integration, and sustainment of test support infrastructure for space vehicle factory and launch-based testing activities.
• Support ongoing mission integration and technical activities across all Ground Control systems, ensuring interoperability and interface compliance.
• Maintain lifecycle sustainment for current missions through end-of-life and for new missions.
• Conduct planning, requirements analysis, procurement, development, installation, integration, testing, and operational readiness activities.
• Lead or participate in Tech & Ops Review covering performance metrics, incidents and resolution, maintenance coordination, and risk mitigation.
