Job summary

Auria Space is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to support the HADES program at Kirtland AFB, NM. This full-time role drives technical planning, integration, and risk management for ground systems enabling experimental mission capabilities.

The incumbent will guide multidisciplinary teams, manage baselines and requirements, and coordinate with government stakeholders to ensure successful delivery in a TS/SCI/SAP environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Systems Engineering, Engineering, CS, Physics, Math, IT, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of systems engineering, software engineering, or related experience on complex DoD or Federal programs.
• Minimum 5 years in space, satellite ground systems, or related space enterprise programs.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing technical baselines and requirements.
• Experience MBSE methodologies and tools (e.g., SysML, Cameo).

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical lead for HADES task orders, overseeing planning, execution, integration, and risk management.
• Provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary teams and coordinate activities across stakeholders.
• Oversee requirements development, baselines, interfaces, and engineering documentation.
• Lead technical assessments, solution development, and integration planning for evolving mission needs.
• Collaborate with Government stakeholders, program leadership, and mission partners to ensure delivery of objectives.
