Job summary

Adaptic LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer to translate mission needs into concrete requirements and workable solutions across the full system lifecycle for DoD and Intelligence Community customers.

You will define CONOPS, shape architecture, and collaborate with customers, developers, and partners to ensure the final system meets mission objectives through design, testing, deployment, and sustainment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant technical field with 1+ year of experience.
• Experience supporting engineering systems across lifecycle stages from conception to sustainment.
• Experience developing or working with system requirements, use cases, designs, interfaces, integration, or test activities.
• Ability to translate complex operational needs into clear technical requirements.
• Strong communication and collaboration across customers, engineers, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define CONOPS, system and operational requirements, and use cases.
• Translate needs into actionable technical requirements.
• Perform high-level system design and shape overall architecture.
• Define performance, interface, and integration requirements.
• Develop installation, integration, and acceptance test plans.
• Collaborate with customers, developers, and partners to ensure solutions meet needs.
• Support engineering activities across full system lifecycle.
