Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Systems Engineer to oversee the comprehensive operation, administration, and maintenance of both physical and virtual server environments, ensuring optimal performance and security for mission critical systems.

Qualifications

Familiarity with VMware/Hyper-V virtualization.
Experience with vulnerability management and patch deployment.
Knowledge of compliance frameworks for secure systems.
Experience in database administration, performance tuning, and restoration testing.
Background in cybersecurity and disaster recovery planning.

Responsibilities

Perform server and virtualization OA&M for all assigned physical and virtual systems.
Manage patch deployment, STIG hardening, and vulnerability remediation including POA&M tracking.
Administer, tune, and validate backup and recovery processes for databases.
Oversee storage allocation, conduct backup operations, and perform restoration testing.
Ensure security and compliance across server environments.
