Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Senior Cyber Infrastructure & Tooling Engineer to design, build, and maintain secure, multi‑platform virtualized environments and custom tools that support cybersecurity operations for U.S. government missions.

You will drive automation, implement CI/CD pipelines, develop secure data ingest pipelines, mentor teammates, and help standardize engineering practices to deliver reliable, scalable capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, software engineering, or infrastructure automation.
• Experience with virtualized environments, multi-platform ecosystems, and secure system design.
• Strong programming skills in modern languages used for automation and tooling development.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated build processes.
• Knowledge of secure data flows, encryption, and cybersecurity operations support tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain multi-platform virtualized environments for testing, analysis, and security operations.
• Build custom software utilities, automation scripts, and data processing tools to support rapid cyber response.
• Develop secure data ingest pipelines and integrate tools across commercial, government, and custom systems.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, version control standards, and automation practices for rapid capability delivery.
• Support secure posture development and ensure environments remain reliable and scalable.
• Translate analytical or mission requirements into functional, secure software solutions.
• Provide mentorship and contribute to cross-team standardization and process improvement.
