Job summary

Rock Health is seeking a Systems Engineer to support enterprise infrastructure for a global workforce. You will design, deploy, and maintain multi-tenant OpenStack platforms, while implementing high-availability topologies and IaC with Ansible and Puppet.

The role includes scripting in Python/Bash and managing Linux systems with IAM controls for least privilege. Experience with Red Hat Linux 8/9, Grafana, Naemon, and tools like Pagent/Putty is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with extensive experience or significant relevant experience without a degree.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain multi-tenant OpenStack platforms.
• Architect high-availability topologies to ensure system resilience.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Ansible and Puppet.
• Create automation scripts with Python and Bash.
• Support databases using MySQL.
• Engineer and secure enterprise Linux systems, enforcing IAM frameworks based on least privilege.
• Use diagnostic tools like Naemon for performance analysis and system health monitoring.
• Execute Return-to-Service protocols to reduce downtime during incidents.
