Job summary

Infotree Global Solutions is seeking a seasoned systems administrator to design, deploy, and maintain scalable Linux/Windows infrastructure. You will manage OpenStack environments (manual or Ansible/Fuel/Kolla), storage backends, and cloud resources across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

The role requires strong scripting (Shell), experience with virtualization (VMware, KVM, OpenShift), and solid networking knowledge. Collaboration and documentation are essential for reliability and security.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of work experience in the system administration field.
  • Experience configuring both bare metal and automated environments with patching, upgrading, and reconfiguration.
  • Deploy and manage OpenStack environments (manual and automated via Ansible, Fuel, or Kolla).
  • Provision storage backends (Ceph, Cinder) and image repositories.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux/Windows servers for high availability.
  • Monitor performance and troubleshoot to maintain reliability.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP and virtualization like VMware, VCF, KVM, OpenShift virtualization, Kubernetes.
  • Implement security measures including hardening and patch management.
  • Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SSH, HTTP).
  • Hands-on with enterprise storage (Fibre Channel zoning, iSCSI, NFS, CIFS) and platforms like NetApp, Pure, PowerStore; LDAP/AD identity systems; storage (LVM, SAN, NFS).
  • Document configurations and troubleshooting steps; collaborate with teams; experience with AWX, Ansible, Shell scripting.

Job description

  • 5+ years of work experience in the system administration field.
  • Proven record and experience of configuring, managing both manual (bare metal) and automated environments, including patching, upgrading and re-configuring.
  • Deploy, configure and manage OpenStack environments (manual and automated using Ansible, Fuel, or Kolla).
  • Perform upgrades across OpenStack releases. Provision storage backends (Ceph, Cinder volumes) and image repositories.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and optimize Linux/Windows servers and systems to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively troubleshoot issues to maintain operational reliability.
  • Experience in managing and optimizing public cloud infrastructure AWS, Azure, GCP Experience in virtualization technologies like Vmware, VCF, KVM, OpenShift virtualization, Kubernetes
  • Implement security measures, including hardening, patch management, and vulnerability mitigation.
  • Working knowledge of networking protocols and services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SSH, HTTP, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise servers Hands-on experience with enterprise storage technologies such as Fibre Channel zoning, iSCSI, NFS, CIFS, and platforms like NetApp, Pure, or PowerStore. Knowledge of identity/auth systems (e.g. LDAP/AD) and storage solutions (LVM, SAN, NFS).
  • Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps clearly and consistently.
  • Collaborate with other teams to deploy and support applications and infrastructure. Experience with using automation tools AWX, Ansible, Shell scripting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently with minimal guidance.

Nice to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE, CKA, Certified OpenStack Administrator (COA)
  • Proficiency in DevOps tools Design, develop, and deploy AI agents to automate workflows, perform data-driven tasks
