Job summary
DCS Corp is seeking a junior/mid-level systems engineer to provide engineering analysis focused on mechanical and electrical systems for PM AAA. You will review, analyze, and comment on technical documentation to address vehicle issues and identify risks, and participate in hardware integration and testing on platform deployments.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering and 4-6 years of related experience, with prior involvement in ACAT Level I-III programs and strong system-design
Qualifications
- US citizenship and a SECRET clearance is required.
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering field and 4-6 years of related professional experience.
- Experience supporting ACAT Level I-III program of record; providing engineering and technical analysis on mechanical and electrical vehicle systems.
Responsibilities
- Review, analyze, develop, and comment on technical documentation to address vehicle issues and identify risks.
- Review technical documentation (requirements, CAD files, test plans/reports, technical review documents, engineering change documents).
- Conduct technical analyses and attend design and ECP reviews.
- Witness hardware integration onto platforms and execution of tests; review test plans/reports.
- Develop informational briefs and provide results to Government to support schedules.
- Provide technical/engineering support to Equipment Specialists for DLA-339s and PQDR processes including root cause analysis.
- Represent the Program Office on site and be the primary communication conduit for engineering issues related to Depot PoP and IROAN of ACVs.
