TelevisaUnivision seeks a Systems Engineer to join the Media Systems Support team in Miami, focusing on hands-on infrastructure for 24x7x365 News, Sports and Entertainment production environments. You will maintain broadcast IT infrastructure, participate in incidents, and help implement new technologies to improve operations.

Required: a bachelor’s degree in CS/engineering or related field, 5+ years IT experience, and 3+ years cloud (GCP/AWS/Azure) with on-prem and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in IT, preferably with a media or broadcast environment.
• 3+ years deploying and supporting cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS or Azure).
• Experience with 24/7, always-on production environments.
• Familiarity with Windows & Linux operating systems, networking, firewalls & load balancers.
• Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support and monitoring of on-prem and cloud infrastructure used for 24x7x365 News, Sports and Entertainment production environments.
• Perform preventive maintenance and ensure timely completion of tasks.

Systems Engineer, Media Systems Support## Systems Engineer, Media Systems SupportApply: Miami, FL: Full time: Posted Today: R021397**ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:**The Media Systems Support team at TelevisaUnivision is looking for a Systems Engineer to join our team!The Systems Engineer is a hands-on Systems Support position responsible for all aspects of the infrastructure support team and the implementation and maintenance of current and future technologies used to support 24x7x365 News, Sports and/or Entertainment Production Environments. In this role, the hired individual will maintain broadcast-related IT Infrastructure systems and help to identify new technologies and tools to support and improve operations. He or she will provide technical assistance for daily operations of mission-critical systems.The Systems Engineer works closely with the Media Systems Support group on all aspects related to their assigned area of responsibility.**ABOUT YOU:**You are an innovative individual that enjoys pushing the limits of technology.
