Job summary

The Network News team at TelevisaUnivision seeks a detail-oriented News Media Desk Coordinator to support video metadata management, archival processes, and media workflows to ensure content is organized and accessible for future retrieval across news programming.

The role uses iNews, PAM, and Avid Media Composer to ingest, transfer metadata, and maintain accurate metadata while collaborating with producers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant broadcast media training preferred.
• Basic knowledge of video editing or media management preferred.
• Familiarity with Avid Media Composer, iNews, or similar systems is a plus.
• Experience with metadata entry and media archival workflows is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills (written and verbal).

This role supports Network News by managing video metadata, archival processes, and media workflows to ensure content is properly organized, accessible, and available for future retrieval across news programming.

You are organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a technical and automated systems environment. You can make quick decisions, follow established workflows, and communicate clearly while supporting producers and newsroom teams in a fast-paced environment.

YOUR DAY-DAY:

• Use iNews to transfer metadata from rundowns to the PAM archival system.
• Ingest video codes and prepare media for the editing and archival process.
• Create sequences in Avid Media Composer to support media consolidation and archiving.

YOU HAVE:
