Job summary

TI is seeking a System Engineer in Santa Clara to translate customer requirements into technical specifications for high-precision, low-power low voltage amplifiers and comparators. You will shape product definitions, drive market-driven roadmaps, and collaborate with customers and internal teams to deliver world-class solutions.

In this role you will ramp new designs, support sales with system-level insights, and contribute to cross-functional reviews to ensure on-time delivery and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, ECE or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in linear circuits.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to take initiative and drive for results.
• Master's degree preferred with 5+ years in analog blocks (op amps, ADCs, DACs, LDOs).
• Strong understanding of analog/mixed-signal ICs; familiarity with lab equipment and SPICE modeling.
• Customer-facing skills with track record of designing system solutions.
• Ability to work in teams across functions; strong time management for on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Research and define new product definitions based on customer requirements and market trends.
• Develop a roadmap strategy to grow the product line revenue; monitor automotive and industrial end-equipment.
• Identify future trends and opportunities to improve performance and value.
• Be the technical expert for product ramp-up and drive design-wins with customers.
• Support marketing and sales with product knowledge and system-level understanding.
• Build relationships with customers and field teams to diagnose and solve system problems with TI silicon.
• Negotiate IC development tradeoffs with design teams to meet timelines; assess competitors.
• Lead cross-functional coordination for new product launches and issue resolution.
• Create technical literature to support development and launches.
• Engage in technology reviews and collaborate with field application teams.
