Job summary

CompQsoft Inc. is seeking a seasoned systems engineer in San Diego to support secure environments with 3+ years in systems engineering and 2+ years in enterprise server administration (Linux/Windows).

The role requires eligibility for TS/SCI clearance and DoD 8140 Intermediate proficiency, with experience in Agile frameworks for architecture, requirements traceability, and system integration. Candidates will operate in secure environments, ensuring operational sustainment and DISA STIG

Qualifications

• 3+ years in systems engineering and continuous software sustainment using Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) in secure environments.
• 2+ years recent (last 5) enterprise server administration (Linux & Windows) with scalable virtualized environments (e.g., vSphere, AWS) and DISA STIG compliance.
• Must meet DoD 8140 ‘451 – System Administrator’ Intermediate Proficiency requirements and remain eligible for privileged/admin access.

Experience focus:

• 3+ years in systems engineering and continuous software sustainment, including architecture, requirements traceability, system integration, and operational sustainment using Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) in secure environments.
• 2+ years recent (last 5) enterprise server administration (Linux & Windows) with scalable virtualized environments (e.g., vSphere, AWS), continuous monitoring, and strong DISA STIG compliance.
• Must meet DoD 8140 ‘451 – System Administrator’ Intermediate Proficiency requirements and remain eligible for privileged/admin access.

Requirements

Clearance: Active TS/SCI or TS/SCI-eligible with Tier 5 at time of proposal.
