Job summary

Davidson is seeking a Systems Engineer (Level 3) for Colorado Springs, CO and Schriever Space Force Base. The role is onsite daily with limited remote work.

The successful candidate will support the TASD team, guiding modeling and simulation efforts across requirements derivation, MBSE workflows, and documentation. The position offers growth for a junior-level engineer into defense modeling and simulation, requiring a STEM degree and experience with MBSE, data analysis, and scripting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM plus 5 years related work experience, or Master's with 3 years, or PhD with 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Support capability elicitation and derive requirements for development.
• Develop processes and procedures in collaboration with senior engineers.
• Research missile defense concepts, sensor phenomenology, and threat model trajectories.
• Develop systems engineering artifacts supporting development and testing.
• Prepare documentation, system requirements, and user guides for simulation tools.
• Provide briefings to customers and stakeholders on technical solutions and updates.
• Assist in training and orientation of simulation tools.
