Job summary

General Dynamics - IT is seeking a Systems Engineer Level 1 in Annapolis, MD to design and define system architecture for new or existing computer systems, and to drive system development across design, modeling, security, integration, and formal testing.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, or Computer Engineering, 3+ years of related experience, TS/SCI with poly clearance, and US citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Develop system requirements, specifications, and design plans.
• Analyze requirements and conduct feasibility studies.
• Develop system metrics.
• Develop, define, and document operational and support concepts.
• Prepare test plans, procedures, and reports; test and analyze results.
• Provide support for troubleshooting of system failures and malfunctions.
• Perform continual maintenance and provide solutions for security, backup, and redundancy problems.
