Job summary

General Dynamics - IT (GDIT) is seeking a Systems Engineer in Annapolis, MD to advance enterprise IT initiatives and support mission-critical operations.

The role involves system design, development and integration across the system life cycle, with responsibilities including installation, configuration, testing, security maintenance, and documentation. A TS/SCI with poly clearance and US citizenship are required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Math, Computer Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• 1+ year of related experience.
• TS/SCI with poly security clearance required.
• US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to completion of milestones associated with specific engineering projects.
• Develops solutions to engineering problems of moderate scope and complexity.
• Performs systems design, development, and integration from start to end of a systems life cycle.
• Oversees moderately complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
• Performs systems modeling, simulation, and analysis.
• Performs continual maintenance of security, including backup and redundancy strategies.
• Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects.
