Job summary

GDIT is seeking a Systems Engineer to advance customer operations within enterprise IT. You will contribute to the lifecycle of engineering systems from conception through decommissioning, collaborating with a driven team to deliver mission-critical solutions.

You will design, develop, and integrate systems, manage infrastructure, perform modeling and analysis, and maintain security and documentation across projects. A bachelor’s degree and a TS/SCI with poly clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
• Experience: 1+ year of related experience
• Security clearance level: TS/SCI with poly
• US citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Contributes to completion of milestones associated with specific engineering projects
• Develops solutions to a variety of engineering problems of moderate scope and complexity
• Perform systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end
• Oversees moderately complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools
• Performs systems modeling, simulation, and analysis
• Performs continual maintenance of security, including backup and redundancy strategies
• Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects

The likely salary range for this position is $114,750 - $155,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
