Systems Engineer Lead — Germantown, MD

A federal science and research organization is expanding its enterprise engineering team, and we
are hiring the lead for it. This is the senior technical authority on the systems engineering
function — you set the architecture direction, you own the lifecycle, and you lead the
engineers doing the work.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of systems engineers, setting priorities and technical direction.
• Own enterprise IT design and documentation across cloud, on-premise and hybrid environments.
• Guide secure integration plans, configuration baselines and architecture artifacts.
• Direct alternatives analysis and cost-benefit analysis for modernization initiatives.

Requirements:

• On-site in Germantown, MD. Positions may also be staffed in Oak Ridge, TN or Lemont, IL.

Compensation: $150,000 to $190,000 per year, depending on experience and
qualifications.
