Job summary

FS Poly seeks Systems Engineers of all levels in Annapolis Junction, MD, to install, configure and support networks, systems, and applications across all levels while monitoring health and security. Roles range from junior to senior with increasing responsibilities.

Mid‑level and Senior roles involve designing and implementing new systems, leading projects, mentoring juniors, and shaping IT strategy. TS/SCI with FS Poly clearance is required; telework is sparse but approved for some missions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field, up to 2 years of experience for Junior
• 3–5 years of experience for Mid-Level, including management of medium/large server environments
• 6+ years of experience with advanced system architecture, networking, and security; leadership skills for IT strategy

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and support networks, systems, and applications across all levels.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and uphold security.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, email, and security software.
• For Mid-Level and Senior roles: design and implement new systems, lead projects, and mentor junior colleagues; develop strategic IT plans.
