Job summary

Korn Ferry is seeking a Systems Engineer to design, build, and maintain integrations and data pipelines that power operations and analytics. This hands-on role spans the full delivery lifecycle from evaluating modernizing business tech to leading technical projects through rollout.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required (no sponsorship needed).
• Experience with Golang (Go), Python, C, Java, HTTP, FTP, JSON, XML and fixed width files.
• Strong background in SQL Development on MSSQL, MySQL or other relational database platforms.
• Experience implementing and integrating into web services (REST/SOAP APIs).
• Experience using GitHub or other version control systems.
• Experience with Windows server maintenance/management in MS Azure and Docker is a plus.
• Excellent technical skills, including troubleshooting — software experiences in data warehousing/reporting tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills across technical and business lines.
• Must be available to support night/weekend teams as needed.
• Ability to work independently and build collaborative relationships within a team.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement integrations with internal and external systems using web services, file-based exchange, and EDI patterns.
• Maintain and develop new features for internal applications within existing codebases.
• Serve as a liaison between vendor technical teams and internal business units or end users.
• Troubleshoot existing system integrations issues to minimize business impact and drive process improvements.
